Flash is dead. Don't take that class seriously. Start learning jQuery instead.

That's where I disagree with you. Flash may be on it's way out, but it's not quite dead yet, no matter what Steve Jobs tells you.

Yeah, I think flash will be around awhile. Like that crazy aunt that comes for vacation and just never leaves. It's not that I don't like the final results that I know I can get with flash, it's just so dang complicated to me. I ended up opting to do disjointed rollovers in dreamweaver instead of a gallery in flash on my last project. Just so much easier.

I'm definitely not into Web Design for the long haul, but what is this jQuery you speak of? I'm intrigued.

jQuery is a library/framework for JavaScript that makes JavaScript easier to work with.

I designed a pretty cool website, but it doesn't give me the same satisfaction as playing the guitar and creating music. Does anyone else feel that way?
