| Woo hoo!
My wife and I had a rare babysitter opportunity and went to see this. Really, really great.
And as with all Marvel movies, don't forget to stay until after the credits. The Avengers teaser is attached. |

| I really enjoyed Thor but did not want to see Captain America. However, after some convincing, I saw it last weekend. I've gotta say, it was way better than I expected. Solid acting, good plot and great special effects. I didn't like it as much as Thor, but it's definitely a very solid movie and worth seeing, although it is a little "darker" than Thor. And seeing that trailer after the end credits made me want to see the Avengers that much more. It looks fantastic.

| I also saw it last weekend. It's one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen, save The Dark Knight. The cool thing is, it combines two genres that aren't often put together: superhero and war. That's what sold me on this film when I saw it. BTW, went to a Saturday afternoon 2D showing at the less popular theater in town: completely full!

| Wow! I hated it.
I was never really a Capt. America fan though. I personally felt that it was the worst recent Marvel movie thus far. I enjoyed the build up of Steve Rogers' character more than the actual action once Rogers becomes Capt. America. I thought the plot between the Red Skull and C.A. was lame, the action between them was lame, and the whole movie felt predictable and like it rushed through the last half. I've always held similar sentaments for Capt. America comics. But, then again, I had the same distaste for Ironman comics and felt like the Ironman movies were stellar.
Tommy Lee Jones was the best thing about the movie.

Tommy Lee Jones was the best thing about the movie. | I agree with you on all parts, except I still loved the movie. In fact, I saw it twice...in 3d and in 2d.
I felt like the movie should have been two movies. The last half of the movie especially felt like it was more about paving the way for the Avengers rather than being about Captain America. Had they released the movie with more time and footage dedicated to Captain America kicking ass and fighting the Red Skull and some Hydra bad guys, it would have been perfect.
Iron Man got two movies. Why couldn't Captain America?
Tommy Lee Jones was great. |

| I hate 3d, but loved this one in 3d.
I get sick when there's too much going on, and there's things flying at me. I actually forgot this one was in 3d for most the movie...but realized the whole time that there was more depth going on in the film. It looked great in 3d, and I would actually rather see it in 3d again if I were to go a third time. |

| From what I've heard, both Thor and Captain America are getting sequels--but those are being released after the Avengers (in 2013, tentatively). It'll be interesting to see where they go with the sequels.
