Buying Advice

I have a chance to pick up a 2004/05 MIA P-bass for $600. I would be buying it for resale (maybe) in hope to make a couple bux on it. It's serial number is Z4171094. Am I decieved in thinking that I could get between $800-$1000 for it?

It really depends on your area.
In my city, $800 (Canadian) for an american fender is the standard.

I think getting $800-$1000 for a used American P-Bass is a bit unreasonable. $750 I think would be the high end for used.

Agreed. The one you're looking at is an '04. I'm sure with some patience you can flip it for profit, but $800-$1000 is definitely ambitious.

Sweet! Thanx for the responses guys. I only buy stuff that I can flip for profit. If I can't flip this fast I doubt I'll buy it.

Show the guy $400 cash, small bills so it is a large stack of money. He may take it. The allure of green money stacks is often a good motivator to sellers.
