| Thanks for the advice guys, another amp just came up, a Line 6 AX2, I've haven't heard alot about this amp, but from video's on youtube, it appears to be decent. What do you guys know about it? It's a fair amount cheaper than the other one's as well. |

| I used my friend AX2 a few years ago for a 4-5 gigs and I loved the amp, If fact I've been thinking about picking one up myself. My biggest concern is what would happen if something broke. Plus the newer Floorboards aren't compatable so if you don't have one or the one you have breaks you have to hunt down another used one. Stuff like that is my biggest concern about buying a AX2. The AX2 that I played through sounded way better than the Spider III I checked out. All I can really say is that I would take a AX2 over a Spider any day of the week. And that the AX2 is actually one of my most wanted amps. |

| OK, thanks for the info. The amp comes with a floorboard, that I would assume is compatible with it. Also, from all the video's I've seen on it, the only sample the clean tones, does it have decent hi-gain stuff on it too? |

The AX2 actually comes with a set of Metallica presets(preset 26 channel B is the James Hetfield preset). Here is the link to the list of amp models, featured effect and featured artist presets: http://line6.com/data/l/c0a8090bf773...%20English.pdf |

| Hey guys,
just thought I'd let you know, I went to try some amps today, and decided to go with a Vox VT30. It seemed to match all my needs the best, at a price that didn't break the bank. Thanks for all the help, it's much appreciated. |

Like do I want to get an amp or something like a Pod Live that fits my current needs which is basicly somwthing that will take the place of draging my main rig every where. Or do I buy something like a cheaper tube amp which would really be more of a want. But at the same time I still want to get the best bang for the buck. By the way what your opinions on the Line 6 Flextone amps? |
