The summer is basically here for me. This means that Saturday I'll be going home and we'll officially be able to start band practices. The biggest thing will be teaching our new drummer the songs (I used to be the drummer) because everybody else knows the songs, so it's just getting him into the swing of things. Hopefully he'll learn fast so we can play a small, low key show before the highschoolers get out of school (3 weeks from now). We have a band that is very close to all of us so we're planning to set up a small show downtown in the upstairs of this little guitar shop with them. It wouldn't be a big show, but it'd be perfect for the debut show of The Skyline Social and it'd be perfect for all of our closest friends to start to get to know our sound. Hopefully we'll get a good video recording of it so I can post it here.
