| Initially I didn't reply cause I didn't think I'd used one. Then I looked into them and found that I had actually spent some time with one. Can't remember which model. It was one of the ones meant to function with a stand alone sound. I'd be interested to try the "Brit Boost" with my rig but whichever one I used was meant to be a standalone tone -not a booster.
I found it's sound okay but when I tried to drive it with a volume boost going into it, it fizzed and fuzzed quite annoyingly. I'm glad I didn't settle on it for my core tone. However I would be interested to see how the "Brit Boost" functions with my rig.
Are you using it as an overdrive tone on top of your clean or are you pushing your amp with it?
