There was a discussion about the weight issue on the TB forums and some guy from acoustic piped in and explained the situation. If it's at GC when I make it down there I'll still heft it just to verify how retarded it is to put a neo speaker in a cab 13 pounds heavier than one with a ferrous magnet.
Aha! I read that completely backwards or something. Thanks. Now to slap myself for looking at Carvin's website. I really need a good distraction so I can focus my energies elsewhere for a while.

Success! I played the acoustic 200 combo at GC and was rather impressed, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I liked the GK MB210 except for the broken out active input jack. The MB115 didn't work at all. The ampeg micro-vr is still awesome but lacks low end. I ended up back at a much smaller chain store and walked out with a fender bassman 150. Now I just have to spend the rest of my life tweaking the eq. I tried the new fender tv series, but they're not quite nice enough to justify the amount it would cost to get one. I think I'll be happy with this amp for quite a while. There's just something about fender amps that do it for me. Must be why I have 4 now.
