Speaking of twisting words and meanings: you seem to have invented a lot. If I had really said that, you wouldn't have to tell me that I said it. It seems that you are simply going on the attack with generalized insults (mostly calling me elitists and disruptive).

I never once said that "the Bible says so" is scientific evidence. I'm definitely smart enough to know what convincing scientific evidence is.

The problem being that there is no actual (emprical) evidence for YEC. That's why no one came to believe YEC based on observation. All who came to the idea did so through religion.

Also, I never said I don't trust any empirical evidence. In the case of evolution vs non-evolution there are scientific (yes, scientific) arguments on both sides.

Of course you did. You assered that the emperical data could not be trusted aout of an inability to establish it was not planted by hyper-intelligent aliens. I can quote you if you like.

I've yet to hear a convincing scientific argument that the earth circles the sun, so yes, I do believe in heliocentrism, because I haven't heard loads of evidence for geocentrism. If there was conflicting, equally convincing evidence I would say that I was unable to take a position on the issue. Since this isn't the case, heliocentrism vs geocentrims is irrelevant to the topic at hand.

The "evidence" is pretty similar. The Bible says the sun moves and the Earth is still.

With that, I guess I'm just done for now. I'm not going to say anything more because I know no good will come of it. Take that as a victory if you want, I just know I'll be much happier if I stop now rather than argue pointlessly. I don't know why I posted in the first place to be honest.

You took the time to write dozens of sentances about me and yourself. I doubt you will stop now. You won't argue the actual topic (or you will and then you will abandon it because you will say you aren't arguing), but you definately want to get your pot-shots in at me.

Of course, I could be pleasently surprised.
