+1 Rhodes > Wurl ANY day. Nice find. So how much for the score?

I like a Wurlitzer just fine but given the choice between a Wurlitzer and a Rhodes I'd take the Rhodes hands down.

I suppose next you'll be telling me you'd take a DX-7 E. Piano patch over a Rhodes.

No, Rhodes just win at life.

Though, DX-7s just remind me of an entire decade of music that I, for the most part, would rather forget.

To be honest, though, Rhodes fit my style a lot more. That is, stuff from post-rock to neo-soul/R&B/Hip-Hop and jazz fusion. If I were doing rock n roll, blues, or Hathawayesque motown grooves, I'd consider a Wurly. But that's just not how I play.

In case anyone cares...

I definitely spent my day yesterday taking the whole darn thing apart, and giving it a good deep cleaning (It's pretty insane how much dust I vacuumed out of the case), and also installing the Vintage Vibe Miracle Mod, which has considerably improved the action. It plays like a dream.
