| What do you think Heaven will be like? The Bible says that it will be unlike anything that we could possibly imagine;
the most beautiful and exciting place ever!
The purpose of this isn't to start a debate, but to share your thoughts of what YOU
think the Kingdom of Heaven will be/look like; and from there we will simply know
that it will be unfathomably better!
So what do you think will make The Perfect Place? |

| An endless snow-covered hill and a brand new pair of racetigers. And Bojangles with Cheerwine on the way down.

| I can go all day talking about what perfection might look like, but the best human decription ever given won't even begin to be able accurately describe it. Silly humans.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight. | |

| Hence my first sentence haha
Give it your best shot!
I love Phil Wickham's description in his song, Cielo! with a thunder roll and a brilliant light
your glory bursts and the heavens shine
the saints and angels stand in awe
captured by the beauty of it all
so i fall to my knees
but i can't bow low enough
i can't bow low enough
at the vision of You my God |

| I think all the "whys" of life will be answered, and God along with his love and greatness will suddenly be apparent in every living thing.
I can't really imagine how it would look though... But if I could make an image of it, it would look something like this:
"You see Gods arms reaching towards you, and now being beyond the physical realm and a world bound in sin, you can finally be fully embraced within Gods bosom. Now, finally being able to witness his majesty first hand, you worship him with all of your strength that he gives you, and continues to give you even as he embraces you, creating an eternity of true love, love that is a paradox, a cycle insupposable by your now forgotten human logic and rationalization, but is now understood, and conceives perfection."
Then again, there's not much imagery there... |

| I think our earthly experience will be completely forgotten. I don't think we will remember the things of this world. I think it will be a time of awe and wonderment.

| I agree with tenwatt that we will not remember the certain aspects of earth. I think the pain and sin will be forgotten. But I can't imagine that we would forgot the Godly aspects of our time here. I like to think that the times we spent ministering and honoring God would remain in our memory. But who knows?
I hope that I will still get to do some of the things I enjoy here on earth. One "fantasy" I entertain from time to time is plugging in my original 1957 Strat into a pair of Fender Twin Reverbs (I don't have any of this here but I will in Heaven. I only have a '57 reissue and a Fender Deville) and playing some intense worship with Jesus in the front row. This is of course ridiculous but it's fun to imagine. |

Disclaimer: If someone answers that with some overly "holy" answer I'm not going to read it.

I forgot to mention sweet tea.

| Heaven is more than Canaan land flowing of milk and honey. No more deaths and sorrows. It is surrounded with beautiful things and happiness. no nights. Oh Lord, let me be one of them who will enter by the narrow path but not the wide path. The place is too beautiful... |

| I imagine that there will be guitars, cars, and all the good things that make life here on Earth fun. But better. I imagine there'll be guitars. Harps are mentioned, so I imagine we could ask for guitars instead... I'd love to just sit up there for eternity and sing praises to Jesus. And I think it'd be cool if like, Heaven was an infinite land. We could walk with Jesus for ever, exploring that beautiful place.
I like to think of it this way: take every good thing God put on Earth, make it infinitely better, and take all the bad things of Earth away, then add a whole lot more awesome that is immeasurable, and THEN you're a little bit closer to imagining what Heaven will be like. But you're still nowhere near it. |

| I think the angels are praising all the time. I do think there will be cars and guitars and whatever makes you happy. Jesus makes me happy, so I'm all set. It is very hard to accurately describe perfection, like the Bible says. |
