Isaac implied a distinction between right wing and conservative. You responded by telling him it's only a matter of semantics. I illustrated that that is simply not the case. That conservative and right wing are not synonyms.
|
Don't tell that to right wingers- they are all conservative small govt folk.
What is not synonymous is republican and right wing or conservative in many many cases. Many in the GOP are just as progressive as some Dems are- they just approach big govt. differently than their dem. counterparts.

Depends on how far right you want to go. The more right you go the more towards anarchy you get. Teh right wing (conservatives) are for a republic constitutional govt. That was established- that means states are larger and the fed is restrained to only those powere enumerated to tehm in the constitution. This is the current right wing movement that is not the far end ( the extreme militia groups who espouse anarchy)
All big govt solutions are progressive or left wing. Socialism, Fascism, National Socialism, Communism, etc. are all massive govt. control and rule.

I have done no such thing.

Jerry, I hate to break the news to you, but there are others on theis thread and I was directing that to Isaac. Please try to remember that I am not just talking to you.

That has nothing to do with the topic. Is it that you are unable to post on topic, or just unwilling?

Once again this has everything to do with what someone else said-- not you. If you want to jump in on a convewrsation you are more than welcome- but make sure you read through to get the background.
