Awesome is the Lord Most High

Didn't know where to put this so I thought I would put it here.

I'm trying to figure out the time signature of this song played by Passion Band on Everything Glorious CD. I can't find the song on the net anywhere or I would post a link. The reason I ask is that we are between drummers and I want to create a drum track in Reason and for some reason I can't seem to get the timing correct.

Thanks

Jeff

Give this a shot. That should open up an mp3 player in your browser. The url is: http://fhccmemphis.com/client/audio/...igh-Tomlin.mp3

Also found a version by a Chris Tomlin HERE. which opens it's own little player. url: Lala Song Player - Awesome Is The Lord Most High by Chris Tomlin

Rhapsody, com also brings up that song under "Passion Worship Band" if you have the service.

If that's the tune, sounds like a straight up 4/4 in a rock style, heavy on the 2 and 4, etc. at a good clip, kind of a get up and get 'er goin' march cadence. Nice tune. Hope this helps.

Hey Thanks, the first one is it, the live version.

I'm still having problems with the bps which made me think it was an odd time signature. I'll have it right on it seems for most of the verse and then it gets off a little bit. I can restart the loop and be on time again and then it gets off again. That's what made me think it wasn't 4/4.

Thanks again

Jeff

I did some tapping using this website: Tap for Beats Per Minute BPM

I think the BPM you're looking for is 133. I didn't feel like there any discrepancies in BPM between the verses and choruses. I just tapped it out keying off of the bass and snare.

I finally got guys, thanks. I had the kick on the wrong beat or something. I'm new to this loop stuff and I'm not real good at figuring time sigs and that stuff.

Thanks Again

Jeff
