Yeah, it could just as easily be played in standard tuning but it loses it's depth.

Umm.... I feel cheated that I just found out about this album TODAY

My first experience with Gungor was "God is not a man" ... I liked the song, but never pursued the artist until I heard Beautiful Things this weekend.

Its amazing. I think I shall come out from under my rock more often

Wow. I'm so glad you resurrected this thread. Never heard them before, but I just went and listened to a few songs. Beautiful Things is, well, beautiful.

Edit: For those interested, worshiptogether.com has a free download of their Song for Haiti. It doesn't look like it is on any CD, but it is beautiful in its simplicity and a powerful reminder to continue to pray for that country.

My friend John just told me bout them 2 days ago. I am now hooked and love their song, "Beautiful Things". They have awesome lyrics and a great sound. Very Indie, which is what I love.

Prodigal prodigal prodigal prodigal!!! That song changed my life and brought me to Christ when I went to an Aquire The Fire conference.
