Post Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Anyone read the books? I'm on Book Four right now, got turned on to them when my 9-year old read through them all and entered a "Percy Jackson is awesome" phase. they are quite enjoyable for teen fiction. Also the movie comes out today, though I don't have high hopes that it will be all that good. Percy seems too old in the trailer, Annabeth is not a blonde, Percy didn't have the watch shield until book two, and I don't recall a many-headed lizard in book one at all. Sounds like another hollywood blunder aka Eragon. But in all fairness, I haven't seen it yet.
