Evolution is not an atheist theory. It is a scientific theory. I'm a Christian and I think Darwin's birthday is worth celebrating. He's one of the greatest scientific minds in history along with Galileo, Newton, Leibniz, Gauss and Einstein. Let's not allow atheists claim or steal Darwin's birthday. It's not a birthday of their hero. It's a birthday of all of humanity both believers and nonbelievers. Denying evolution is like thinking the world is flat or the sun revolves around the earth. We live in the year 2010. If you really care about the matter I recommend the following book 'Finding Darwin's God: A Scientist's Search for Common Ground Between God and Evolution' by Kenneth R. Miller.

Kenneth R. Miller is a devout Christian and a professor of biology.
