Standback
is the way to go. You can use it on most of your amps - I do. Your amp stays on the ground, which some players insist is a must. It's lighter and more compact than even a stapler; well lighter anyway. I just throw mine in the back of the amp when I am playing out. And, you don't have to drill into your amp to put on screws as you would with typical tilt back legs. But, as Tom pointed out, a beam blocker is also a good solution to "ice pick" highs.
