murder in international waters

If we get on a boat and find ourselves in international waters, and I decide right then to kill you, have I committed a crime? Can any court try and convict me of a crime if I am in international waters?

no.... I'm not planning on this or ever would, it just came up in a convo about a girl at work who was on a cruise and someone was murdered while they were on the cruise.
