Finished up a few minutes ago. Tremendous game. Looking forward to ME3.

I knocked boots with...

Tali (I really wanted to see under that helmet). She now has a fever and some other ailments she can't identify, but apparently I'm totally worth it. Awesome.

I'll mourn the passing of...

Mordin- saw him lying in the background after the final battle. Sure, we butted heads over how to properly administer a lethal virus into a controlled population of Krograns and he did falsely accuse me of hitting on him, but I still thought the guy was a-okay. Rest in peace little buddy.

Jack- she was lying in the same cutscene. Meh, more a relief than anything. If she just hadn't thrown that trash can at Miranda, it might not have come down to this.

Can We Keep It?

Of course not. No sci-fi adventure is complete without a fiery, timed chase off an enemy space station.

Did I Make It?

You better believe it. Jumped off that rotting pile of garbage and landed back on the Normandy like a rockstar.

What Happens Next

Lots of people die and more stuff blows up in Mass Effect 3. Or maybe not. Be a shame to ruin that full Paragon meter I've got now...

When I first started playing I heard that you got to see under her helmet if you chose to be with her. About halfway through my roommate told me that is was just a rumor, but I refused to believe him. I made it to that point and, well you know what happens. Now I tell everyone that you get to see under her helmet.

I like at the end of that particular scene when the camera focuses in on her discarded helmet. It's kind of like BioWare saying "yeah....you're never gonna see her face"

Started a new file last night, planning to go all out Renegade on this one. I've already threatened to shut off Edi and probably scarred a Quarian for life, and that was just during the prologue stuff. This is going to be tough for me.....

It would have been hilarious if he took the helmet off and been eaten by some sort of giant snake like creature, then you get the obnoxious "Mission Failed" screen and have to start over....

I'm finding Renegade a lot more fun. I shoved some electrical tool in that mechanic's back just before getting Garrus, flat out punched the reporter woman on the Citadel, and have bullied vendors into giving me discounts. I still chose the Paragon dialogue at the end of Miranda's loyalty mission because of how oddly touching/emotional it is.

About to do Jack's loyalty mission, and even though it's not a great combination, her, Miranda and my Renegade female Shepard will form The Biotic B**** Squad

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

Ha, yeah, playing Renegade is a lot of fun. I just shoved a guy out a window for not coughing up information fast enough. I did, however, resist the instinct to go Paragon at the end of Miranda's loyalty mission. Which was hard, because that was one of my favorite scenes during the first run. Seriously, hats off to BioWare for the Paragon/Renegade dynamic. It's the exact same game, but the experience is completely changed up by choosing the different conversation options. It's stuff like this that's going to push mainstream gaming forward, I think.

I also like how Shepherd's apperance changes as you continually do misdeeds. I knew that her scars were suppose to start glowing...but I didn't realize her eyes did as well.

It took totally wiping out the first platform with the Cain and a LOT of struggle with the Praetorian, but the collector ship trap on Insanity is FINISHED. You don't know ludicrous difficulty in a game until both squadmates - one of them Grunt - are killed in 5 seconds by a Harbinger + Scion combo, or the AoE energy pulse from a Praetorian.

Finished my second run through last night. Full renegade, didn't blow up the station, etc. Good times. Well, more like evil times. Whatever.

I'm considering picking up the DLC missions. What do you guys think? Any of them worth it?

I just finished playing through it again as well...

I knocked boots with...

No one...I was gunning hard for Tali, though. I didn't get my paragon up enough in time.

I'll mourn the passing of...

No one! I didn't have the loyalty of Jack or Zaeed and everyone made it just fine. Awwwright.

Can We Keep It?

Chyeah...that station is badass.

Did I Make It?

Best believe, kid. In tune and on time.

Lair of the Shadow Broker is like a top-notch, full blown loyalty mission from the main game, but longer (it's about 1.4 Gb, if I remember right). The only reason I haven't played it again on Insanity is I've read about people getting the difficulty switched inexplicably.

Garrus' romance scene was pretty underwhelming after all the dialogue and stuff for Miranda, even if it was nice to see a softer side to one of the tougher characters. I guess they couldn't do much with an interspecies relationship, and I did have to pass on a Paragon cutscene option.

No one died on the way to the Collector Base even though dumb Jacob never gave me that Hull upgrade! I was worried.
