| Hi, froggee.
Are you wanting contemporary songs, or will songs from the '70s work? |

| everything will be taken into consideration! I just need them!
I need psalm 32 for this sunday.
What I'm trying to do is make it so that we can sing the psalm, instead of say it.

| Sorry, I don't know any of the entire psalms. Some of them had parts of them used in songs. |

| if its a song with just part of the psalm, that's okay.....just as long as the song is about the psalm.

| This is way before your time but the only one that I can think of off-hand for Ps 32 is 'You Are My Hiding Place' from the '70s. I don't remember if it was from the 'To the Chief Musician' series or the 'Maranatha Praise' series.
see Ps. 32:7
(from memory)
You are my hiding place.
You always fill my heart with
Songs of deliverence.
Whenever I am afraid,
I will trust in You.
I will trust in You.
Let the weak say,
"I am strong in the
Name of the Lord."
I will trust in You.
I'll think about the others. |

| I know two songs from Psalm 95. actually I've heard two versions of verses 6-7 and another song of verses 1-3. All 3 I've known for twenty+ years. I'd love to share the tunes, but not sure how to.
btw, my old youth group used to sing You are my Hiding Place. Great song! |

| Ps. 95:1-3
Come into His Presence
by Lynn Baird (1983)
Come into His presence with thanksgiving in your heart
And give Him praise, and give Him praise.
Come into His presence with thanksgiving in your heart
Your voices raise, your voices raise.
Give glory and honour and power unto Him,
Jesus, name above all names.
Ps. 95:6-7
Come Let Us Worship and Bow Down
by Dave Doherty (1980)
Come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord, Our God, our maker.
Come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord, Our God, our maker.
For He is our God
And we are the people of his pasture
And the sheep of His hand,
And the sheep of His hand.
These're from memory but i think that they're correct. |

| Ps 23
I can't think of anything recent for this one, either.
The New 23rd.
by Ralph Carmichael (1969)
Because the Lord is my shepherd,
I have everything that I need.
He makes me to lie down
And leads me beside the quiet stream . . .
(if you really want the rest of this one, I can probably find it for you)
Ps 23:5-6
Surely Goodness and Mercy
by ??? (we sang this chorus in the '60s - I don't know how far back it goes)
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days, all the days of my life.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days, all the days of my life.
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever
And I will eat at a table prepared for me.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days, all the days of my life.

| Keith Green sang Psalm 23:
The Lord Is My Shepherd (the 23rd Psalm)
The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside the still waters
He restoreth my soul
And guides my path in righteousness
For His name's sake
Surely goodness and loving kindness
Shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever and ever and ever
Though I walk through the valley
Of the shadow of death
I will not fear. Thou art with me
Thou preparest a table
Before me in the presence of my enemies
Thou anointest my head with oil
My cup's overflowing
Surely goodness and loving kindness
Shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever and ever and ever
The Lord is my sheperd I shall not want. |
