| The weirdest movie you've ever seen What is the most out there, weird, unusual, strange, etc. movie that you've ever seen?
For me it's easy: Being John Malkovich. I'll add a couple others if I think of some.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| The Monty Python's, probably. Just messed, hilarious, and far ahead of their time, IMO.
I know I saw a really weird one in the past year that really stood out to me, but for the life of me I can't think of it.

| Eyes Wide Shut. Horrible movie on so many levels (lots of language, nudity, sex), and I still don't know what it was about, because it wasn't about language, nudity, or sex.

| Natural Born Killers. And I only watched about 10 minutes of it.
And then like, Monty Python or something.

I thought it would be terrible but I surprised myself by liking it so much. It definitely has some disturbing moments. Fidelio. Eraserhead is another weird one. And another David Lynch film, heh.

| Napoleon Dynamite is a big contender for me, but Tron wins out. And it also happens to be my favorite movie of all time.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight. | |

| Not being a person that watches movies a lot, I would have to say The Box. |

My friends and I STILL quote it ALL OF THE TIME. | Are you being sarcastic? Because I thought all CGRers hated that movie except for me, because it's one of my all time favourites. If you really did love that one, i'd suggest Nacho Libre.
And if you haven't seen the Monty Pythons, fans of that dry humour seem to also usually enjoy the weirdness of Monty.

I do, however, enjoy the movie. I am not afraid to admit that. I definitely didn't find it zany or weird, though. Just funny. |
