| I've seen Donnie Darko twice, and I still haven't the slightest. |

| Yeah, Lynch immediately sprung to mind when I saw this thread. I think I'd go with Inland Empire as his weirdest though.
I also loved Eyes Wide Shut (it's my favourite of Kubrick's films) but I understand people not liking it. It's definitely not for everyone and I think it's a love/hate kind of film. Some others that immediately come to mind: Gummo Stalker

Nacho Libre was funny, but the sight of Jack Black in "stretchy pants" for that long was something I'll never recover from.
I'm nominating No Country For Old Men. What does it mean?!?!

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| *Ahem. I am another CGR'r who loved Napoleon Dynamite. But it was far from the weirdest movie I've ever seen.
I'm also going with Donnie Darko. It kinda makes sense to me, but it's still an extremely weird film.
And Monty Python's Meaning Of Life. |

| Donnie Darko. I just watched it for a class. I now have to write a paper about it and I have no fricking clue what the heck was even going on. I watched the movie three times in a row. I don't even know what I'm going to write about, because the movie is just so freaking weird.
An evil rabbit, drugs, hallucinations.
Grandma Death did make me lol though, also it makes it very weird/sad for me since Patrick Swayze had such a large role in it and it's a movie about death. |
