But, thanks to the advice in this threat, I've been listening to Thrice, Grammatrain, and am exploring bands like Manic Drive and Day of Fire. My brother already had a lot of Classic Crime and Falling Up stuff. I like CC a lot, and Falling Up's early stuff isn't bad, either.
I have all of Thrice's older stuff. I don't have their last couple albums though. They did an acoustic album that was pretty SWEET too. Try some old Beloved(US). They've got a good mix of scream/singing. I'm pretty sure a member or two of Beloved moved on to the Classic Crime. They're probably my favorite extinct Christian band. Them and all the different versions of Further Seems Forever.

Give Kutless a try. Very good band. Listen to Perspectives by them. A very good song!

Eh, Kutless isn't bad, but they're a lot like Pillar, just not especially remarkable or different from a lot of other bands.

NEEDTOBREATE is so not cookied cutter. I really don't like Day of Fire, Falling Up disbanded a few months ago. I like Josh Wilson. Relient K is good. Try Owl City - he's really good. Audio Adrenaline. I personally like StellarKart, but I've met a couple of ppl that couldn't care less for them.

But yeah, the Newsboys = #1 band of history.

You'd probably love Disciple, Jonah33, and Demon Hunter.
