I might actually be getting one tonight. Guy is selling a Squier P-bass for $80 on craigslist. I haven't seen the pics yet, but I'm definitely interested. He's supposed to email me pics later today.

So, besides just common sense, is there anything to really look for in determining the quality of a Squier?

Make sure it actually outputs sound, the knobs actually change the sound, and make sure the neck isn't too jacked up. Other than that it sounds like a great deal.
