Since this is the thread for talking about retarded people saying stupid crap about the Haiti quake, did anyone see the statement from Danny Glover?

Apparently the quake happened because the Copenhagen climate change summit resulted in inaction.

You know, because global warming is causing tectonic plate shift now. Apparently global warming is even more powerful than Cheney's Hurricane Machine, so that's pretty serious business.

Sadly it just goes to show that stupidity doesn't follow party lines.

Movie star Danny Glover gave a interview that many people are up in arms about. Glover blames global warming on the disaster (audio above):

"When we see what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I'm sayin'? What happened in Haiti could happen to anywhere in the Caribbean because all these island nations are in peril because of global warming," Glover said. Even lefty lady Huffington rebukes him:

Pat Robertson said that "a pact to the devil" caused the devastating earthquake in Haiti, and now Danny Glover proposes a marginally less insensitive cause: climate change.

I was not, and am not, that interested in spending time listening line-by-line. I get none of my advice from Danny Glover and I'm not aware that he's a political or spiritual leader to anyone. Obviously climate change does not cause earthquakes. Anyone who says otherwise is mistaken at best.

Tot eh second, glad you looked at what he said and realized it was just as loony as Rush and Robertson, though we disagree vehemently on many issues, I do have a respect for you.
