Anyone else realize that, since the show was on past midnight (In some timezones), it actually ended on the five year anniversary of Johnny Carson's death? Random and coincidental, but still a neat fact.

Supposedly the use of "Lovely Rita" when Tom Hanks was introduced cost $500,000.

He also gave a 5 year heads up, wasn't kicked out, and simply moved to a different time slot.

It's hard to make a fuss about that.

I knew I recognized that tune but couldn't remember what it was.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

It amuses me how much NBC is burying their brand.

They hit a winning stroke with Hulu, but now they are destroying SNL, the Office, Conan, and so on. But their worst infraction of all is their insane metering of their copyrights. It is amusing, to say the least.

SNL is literally painful to watch these days. Honestly. I want to buy the DVD of the best of Chris Farley on SNL.

So are there any sites that will let someone in Canada watch this?

From what I've heard, not only does he play well, but he also collects guitars as a hobby just like Leno collects cars.

In fact, when Chickenfoot performed on The Tonight Show, Joe Satriani gave Conan the guitar he used to perform the song with.

How is NBC "ruining" The Office, which has picked up a bit after a somewhat weak season 4?
I think SNL has always been as good as the cast and writers, which took a double blow when Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey left.
