Nope. I find it a waste of time. Especially since I wear glasses, it just makes things awkward.

3D gives me a headache. It mostly just adds depth, but I find it also adds some unnecessary blurriness. I think I would like it if there was the option to watch it with or without 3D (in the same theater at the same time), as in, I can put on or remove the glasses whenever I so choose. Now that would be a technological breakthrough I would marvel at and welcome.

Nope, which is why I'm a bit frustrated that the guy who directed Zombieland (and is set to direct the sequel) wants Zombieland 2 to be made in 3D.

I'll see it regardless, because I love the first film and considering the writers and main actors are set to return as well, but I really wish it wasn't going to be made in 3D.

Why don't you just not go to a 3D showing?

So, most of you are probably aware that Andrew Garfield (who portrayed Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network and also stars in the film Never Let Me Go) will be playing Peter Parker in this film, but what was just announced today is that Emma Stone (Zombieland, Easy A) will be taking on the role of Gwen Stacy in the film. It also sounds like she will be the female lead in the film, which leads me to interpret that we may not see MJ as a main character in this first film.

Here's the link:

Emma Stone will play Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man - HitFix.com

Thoughts?

I don't know Andrew Garfield but I think Emma Stone is a good casting decision.

As a fan of the most recent Spider-man movies, I have to say I'm extremely skeptical of this reboot. The casting seems decent enough, but I think it's a bit silly to just start things over again when it's only been 8 years since the original Spider-man movie. Like others have said, I would have rather seen a Spider-man 4 movie as there were loose ends that should have been tied up.

That having been said, I will at least give the reboot a chance. I don't have high expectations for it, though.

These reboots are slaps in the face. Basically, the studios are saying, "I know how to make money, and I do not care what I have to destroy to do it."

Rhys Ifans (this guy http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/a...90_457266a.jpg ), has been cast as the villain of the film, Dr. Curt Connors aka The Lizard.

I like Emma Stone, and The Lizard is a great villain, even if The Scorpion, The Vulture, and Shocker are better choices imo.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

Pics have surfaced recently that show Emma Stone with her hair back to her natural blonde in preparation for the role of Gwen.

Compare this with an image of Gwen Stacy from the comics:

*EDIT*

Also, it's been announced that Uncle Ben will be played by Martin Sheen, Aunt May will be played by Sally Field, and George Stacy, Gwen's dad, will be played by Denis Leary.
