Man, you have got a crazy nice desktop. How do you like ASUS? I've had this laptop for about a week and like it so far. It seemed like a good idea 'cause I know that they make really good components, so I thought I'd try a computer from them.

I am a big fat asus fanboy in a lot of respects.

(well, not literally. Neither big nor fat. Proper AMA weight standards...) But yeah, I love Asus.

ASUS is probably next to Lenovo for my favorite laptops.
Thinkpads FTW.

My dad bought a 6 year old IBM ThinkPad on eBay a few months ago. That thing is huge and heavy, but it is the most solid laptop I've ever seen. In fact, a few days after he got it we went to a baseball game that some of our friends where having at their house. They were using empty bags for the bases and ran only had 3. Dad told them that they could use his laptop for a homeplate. People pounded their bat on that all afternoon and it at the end of the day it didn't have a scratch.

Haha the Xeons are so amazing. They barely register even when doing some audio sessions with 40+ tracks of audio and effects.

My old church used a Mac Pro, but it was wildly underused as far as I can tell. Just to display slideshows up on the two giant projector screens.
