10 - Amazing CD. Everyone should own it.
9 - Among the best of the year.
8 - One of the top CDs around, but could have been improved in a few places.
7 - Not a bad CD, but could have been better in a number of places.
6 - Pretty good for it's genre, but overall it's only acceptable.
5 - Decent CD, but only if you're a big fan of this genre.
4 - If you love this band, you'll like this CD. Otherwise, probably not.
3 - If you're a fan of this genre, the CD is barely acceptable.
2 - If you're a big fan of this band, this CD is tolerable.
1 - Even if you like this band, you won't like this CD.

| I voted 10... I was debating between 9 and 10, because I really feel that there are very few true 10s out there. But it has also been a really long time since I listened to a new album so much in such a short time after its release. I love this album from start to finish, though admittedly some songs are stronger than others.
The first four tracks blew me away the first time I listened to the album, and those four are still major standouts to me. |

| I voted 10. Few albums hit me hard with the first listen and continue to hit me hard for weeks to come. This happened to be one of those albums. I simply haven't gotten tired of listening to the songs yet, and don't think I will anytime soon. I'd say this is easily one of their best CDs, definitely better than the last two.

| I'm holding off on voting. Right now I honestly don't feel like I could give it more than a 6 or 7. So far I've felt like the album lacks identity and flow. Parts of it get me really excited about owning a new Switchfoot album, and other parts make me feel like I could be hearing these songs on any other album by any other current alternative rock band. |

| I voted 10, because it is an amazing CD.
However, I still think it could have been improved a little. I felt like after the first few songs, primarily after The Sound, it kinda loses a lot of intensity. Switchfoot is not a hard rock band by any means, and I love their slow stuff, but I really felt that the only really fast songs on the album were Mess Of Me and The Sound. Hello Hurricane and Free move pretty well, but, they still lack the strength that those first four do.
Still, at the end Sing It Out and Red Eyes are two amazing songs. The whole album is really good. So, still 10.

| Yeah... I second guess the 10 I gave it, and it is start to finish one of my favorite CDs ever. |

Probably Switchfoot's best! I like the band's change to a more uplifting message. (I always liked Switchfoot, but sometimes they were a bit too pessimistic in their lyrics).
Favorite tracks have to be
1. Hello Hurricane
2. The Sound
3. Bullet Soul
4. Mess of Me
5. Needle In a Haystack Life (I was at the concert that they played this song live for the first time)
6. Enough to let me go
7. Free |

| I love what I've heard I haven't heard all the songs in this album, but from what I've heard, this album is really good.
I especially love "Always" because even though it's a pretty simple sounding song, the lyrics are deep and sometimes I really feel the Holy Spirit when I listen to it.

| Sometimes, the best songs are the simplest ones.
