Well, it got here yesterday, but I didn't get to play it until today, so......
In any case, it's an Avatar Contemporary 2x12 in black/wheat, and with the broken-in Vintage 30's (Hellatone 60's). If anyone is looking for a 2x12 by the way, these are currently on sale for about 80 bucks off the regular price. A pretty good deal if you ask me. I think the sale lasts until Christmas, but I'm not entirely sure.
First impressions..... it's big. A lot bigger than many 2x12's I've seen. That, and it sounds really freaking good. I'm loving the change to V30's from the G12H30 that is in the combo.
Edit: Oh, and I must make a note of Avatar's customer service. It's bloody brilliant. I called them on Wednesday afternoon, and told them what I wanted. The sale price was supposed to only be applicable to one cab configuration. Orange or black, with wheat grille cloth, 8 ohms, and Vintage 30's. They told me they had sold the last one that morning, but were going to be assembling another run of them later that day. I asked if there was any chance I could get the Hellatones.... and the guy said that since they were going to be assembling it anyway, he could do the different speakers for the same price. Hooray. So anyway, I ordered it on Wendesday, and it got here on Saturday. Not bad for a custom assembled cab and shipping.... It was also packed extremely well with sheets of foam, and a very thick box. All for under 400 bucks, when a very similar name-brand (Orange) cab would be 670-ish before shipping...
