I thought the LED was quite tame. I must be getting old.

It's a great pedal. I can't imagine it coming off my board. You can get everything from a SLOW pulse to a throbbing, helicopter sound. It doesn't seem to color my tone at all. The LED pulsing to the tempo is GREAT. It really lets you dial in a propper setting for what you're playing. The "speed" and "fine" controls lets you get really specific on the tempo. The "ramp" switch sounds like it reverses the the trem from a on/off/on/off sound to a off/on/off/on sound. It's a really cool feature.

I used a Boss TR-2 before this. Hands down the SBN Lune is leaps and bounds ahead of it.

Is there something specific you'd like to know about it? I'll still gladly mail it to you and let you try it out if you'll pay for shipping.

That's reall nice of you. I'm all set though. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to spend my limited gear budget. I am wanting the versatility of the Nova Modulator but do not have the room on my board. I do want and need a tremolo. So it's either $125 for one great sounding effect or $200 on a good sounding 7-in-1 pedal. I'm just struggling with what to do.

In your case I guess you just need to determine if you'll really benefit from having a ton of different modulation or if you just need some trem. It always seems like I'll buy a multi-modulation effect and then only use like one or two sounds out of it. I use trem a lot so I opted for just a trem pedal. If you're going to use a lot of different modulations...you know....

I hear you. I do have one question for you. How do you set the tempo of your tremendous to match the song the band is playing? Is it difficulto set?

The LED flashes in time with the tempo the pedal is dialed into. The "Speed" and "Fine" controls are the only adjustments that change the tempo. As you turn them from left to right the LED flashes faster. I'll usually count off the song and dial it in reallyclose using the "Speed" control, watching the LED to ensure it's flashing in time with my counting. Then I'll use the "Fine" control to really nail the timing if needed.

Thanks bro. I really appreciate your input. I wish this thing had tap tempo. Oh, is it an anolog or digital pedal?

It's analog. SBN said he couldn't do tap tempo. You can get SO close with the controls that it doesn't matter though. I wouldn't replace it with anything.

Well, I took the plunge and ordered a "Tremulus Lunulus" from Eric at SBN. He said it would take two weeks to complete. Very excited.

I decided against the multi effects after realizing yesterday that it wasn't really necessary. I have two over-drives that cover all of my worship distortion needs, and my amps distrortion sounds very good for those events outside of church where heavy distortion is needed. I have my Nova Delay that does all my delay needs and can even sound chorus like if dialled in the correct way. I use no reverb in worship situations but like my amps reverb when needed, and it's foot switchable. So all I really needed was the trem. And after tenwatts review I decided to go for it.

I think all I need now is a compressor.
