Michael W. Smith - It's a wonderful Christmas
Third Day - Christmas Offerings
Casting Crowns - Peace on Earth
Michael W. Smith - Christmas
Michael W. Smith - Christmas Time
Soundtrack Michael Danna - The Nativity Story

And I have to mention the christmas songs by the christian metal band Theocracy! They don't have a christmas album but released single songs, that are really great!

As far as I'm concerned, you don't need any other.

That said, I really enjoy Kemper Crabb and Shawn Colvin's respective Christmas discs.

I have a boxset of Sufjan Steven's christmas recordings he offically released a few years back that I always enjoy pulling out every year. Some of the tracks display his typical flaire for orchestrial pop music. Other songs are stripped down, lo-fi recordings on guitar and banjo. It's certainly an interesting collection, if nothing else.

Man, I don't understand it, I am usually the one who dreads and despises Christmas, I can't wait for it this year! I've been listening to Christmas music for over a week now.
I don't know why I like old time music, but I do. (I hadn't heard of a lot of these Christmas albums mentioned, I'll have to check them out).

Bing Crosby - I Wish You A Merry Christmas
Boney M. Christmas
Perry Como - I forget
Roger Whitaker - A Time For Peace
Johnny Cash - The Christmas Collection

The Violet Burning have a really interesting/odd/weird/beautiful Christmas album that I got for free off of their website. It's called Divine and it is really good. If they are still offering it for free, do yourself a favor and download it.

Last year I bought that two disc WOW Christmas album because it had a lot of those older songs. Gene Autry, Perry Como, Burl Ives and Bing Crosby are classics.

I have heard great things about this one, but I have not been able to track down a way to buy it. A way OTHER than iTunes, I mean. But the singles group I'm a part of in our church is going to the concert Andrew Peterson is putting on in Elmhurst, Illinois on Dec 3rd. After hearing so much about how great the CD is, I'm starting to really look forward to it.

The "Happy Christmas" albums are the only ones I've enjoyed. I'll have to check out the Future of Forestry's album. Sounds exciting.

I have the third volume of Happy Christmas. Kind of a mix bag to my ears, but there's some great stuff on there. Hangnail and Cadet both performed some surprisingly good renditions of some old carols. And the Earthsuit original on that record (Wonderful Christmas Time?) is off the hook.
