Anyone played this?

I finally bought a new computer that can run it, and I'm anxious to dig into it! I have it and Warhead (bought both 50% off after playing part of the demo --- hurrah for Steam!), but I've yet to even start them up

What'd you who've played it think? No big spoilers, please

I don't own it, but I've played it on a friends computer. The graphics are ridiculous, and his were only half maxed out. Sandbox is awesome though. Make sure you mess around with that more than enough. I don't remember that much else about it, except that it was really hard.
Do you know if they ever made this for PS3/360?

Nope, it's PC-only.

I agree that the sandbox gameplay is phenomenal. I played around on it for about an hour today, and it is really an enjoyable game! I love the open-ended objectives and how I can blast in and kill everybody, or I can sneak in without anyone knowing, and both can accomplish the same objective. Very handy if I'm low on ammo or don't feel like getting into a big fight.

My computer can only run it on Medium, but these graphics are amazing. I wonder what Very High would look like...

Sandbox kind of just shows the capabilites of the game to me. I'd like to see more games with its engine.

After playing this for several more hours, I can safely say this is a really enjoyable game. I really like the dynamics of the suit, and, while the AI isn't always fantastic, it still makes for a good challenge. The story is also pretty darn decent. Definitely better than I'd expected, and I'm hooked on it. Additionally, the graphics, even on Medium, are a major treat. I don't normally play games for eye candy, but it really does help set the atmosphere. All in all, very enjoyable game.

Wow, the ending to this game was seriously disappointing. I hate huge cliffhanger endings.

Hm, they're making a second Crysis though, right? Not that that necessarily makes that ending any better, but it least you would have something to look forward to...

Yeah, they are. I've been looking forward to it since I beat this one a few days ago

. Hopefully that and Episode 3 will come out soon...

You wouldn't be talking about Half Life 2: Episode 3 would you?!?! Cause I've been waiting on that forever... even though I haven't even played episode one and two yet, haha. Speaking of which, I need to get the Orange Box....

Indeed I am! Eps 1 and 2 were fantastic, but that's another topic for another thread...
