Job opportunity
Hey all,

I was hoping I could get some prayer for a job opportunity. It fell in my lap about two weeks ago and has accelerated since then. I had a phone interview last Wednesday, a face-to-face with the supervising manager last Friday, and another face-to-face with a different manager in the unit this afternoon. I feel confident about my competency for the position.

It would be full-time and pays enough where we could live on my income and bank hers and start our family within a year, so that would be so great! It's also a great "first-rung" in the 'ole career ladder for me.

Thanks! The second interview went great!

They called me back for a meeting/interview with the entire team on Thursday, with a brief meeting with the department director following that. They were clear that it's not an offer yet, but it sounds very promising.

Thanks to everyone for the prayers -- I got the job! They called me in today to tell me I was selected for the job, and the official written offer will come in the next few days. I'm excited!

Got the written offer -- the salary offering is higher than I anticipated. The blessings continue.

I'm going to sleep on it as per my own rule, but I don't foresee myself not accepting the offer.
