| How long have you been married? I started out being a pushover but it seems that the older I get, the meaner I get. |

So really, "What is the air speed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?"
It's quite simple:
Drag on a body in a fluid is:
D = 1/2 (Cd*pi*r^2*rho*Vo^2) Cd = coefficient of drag of the swallow pi = 3.1415... r = radius of bird cross-section (approximating as a circle) rho = viscosity of air Vo = velocity For steady state flight, D (drag) = T (thrust), so:
------------------------------
| Vo = sqrt(T/Cd*pi*r^2*rho) |
------------------------------ |

| Give it another 2. I know that I don't know you or Nate. But when one person gets their own way most of the time, at the expense of the other, they tend to push the limit as far as possible until the other person gets tired of it. It is just human nature not to know when to quit. And a laid back person can let something slip 100 times or 1,000 times but sooner or later there is a point where enough is enough. I don't know either of you, so please just take this as a warning of something to be careful of. |

| I was wondering, did any of you married folks here have your weddings outdoors? My fiance and I are trying to decided if we want to get a tent-type thing or not.. any of you made this decision? Do you think its necessary? We're getting married in Iowa next July, so it will probably be pretty hot out. |

But realize this is coming from someone of Irish descent whose response to sunlight kind of sounds like tolkien's description of a goblin in sunlight.

We're just trying to figure out if having a roof over everything on the lawn of my grandparent's farm would actually make everything hotter because it would trap the heat, or not. Quote:

. | Is there a beautiful old tree? Maybe this is way too corny, but if you did it there, you could carve your initials in it and put your wedding date sometime later...

I'm actually thinking that would be cooler than under the roof of a tent. |

Whatever you do, don't get a tent with sides on it. That would be a recipe for disaster. It would get hot and stinky in there quick.
