r3vo1ution1991--great to have you here. Sounds like you really know your way around the fretboard, or at least are learning to. I always thought that jazz guitar meant there weren't any rules, just suggestions...maybe that's just the way i play
michelstyris--I'm just learning some IT, and enjoying it. I've achieved my A+ and Network+ certifications, and currently unemployed, but hey, millions of Americans can't be wrong! I'm certainly not alone. Glad to have you here, it's a great site to while away many hours
supercoop--First and foremost, thank so much for your service to our country! It sure sounds like you are surrounded by a great family, which should help you transition into your future. The guitar is a wonderful way to connect with God and offer back the gifts He's given us. I also have had the tribulations of trying to teach guitar to my 16 year old daughter, so I understand the frustrations there!

Of course I never learned how to play officially, so I certainly don't know how to teach properly either. Welcome to the site, great to have you here!
