| Do you remember your first post here? What drew you to register and post? What exciting (or unexciting) topic was it about? Was it something in "Introduce Yourself!"? Was it an intriguing tract about a matter of debate? Was it something about music, or gear? Or did you go straight for CPF?
Do you even remember?!
In honor of my 20,000th post, I remember my first post was in the Guitar forum, and it was about my epic pick retrieval technique: http://www.christianguitar.org/forum...-3/#post867353 20000!!! |

Mine was just my boring introduction. Quote:

#5 | | Cool enough Administrator | I was here for a lifehouse tab, and the "5 most recent posts" contained one about Robert Horry. I made an unregistered post, and several more after that before I registered. |

| Sure. Leighanna and Mara were (are) friends, and Mara's Mom was on the site. I think Andrew is the one who actually talked me into joining, and Mike (SwitchfootRulz) regularly referred to me as MtlMom before I joined. |

Do you even remember?! | That was a loooooong time ago.
As far as I know, it was actually in the introductions section. I found the site looking for tabs, but have rarely if ever used the tabs here over the past years.
After I joined, I stayed in the guitar forum mostly. I don't even think I realized CPF existed until at least 3 years after joining....Then I branched out some.
Congrats on 20k, Jon. You type a lot.
It's interesting for me seeing the CGR kids grow up over the years. I remember when you were 13 or 14. Eesh. |

#11 | | Algebraic! | The oldest post I could find was from about two weeks after I joined. It was regarding youth group praise band leadership problems: http://www.christianguitar.org/forums/t1037/
I will try to find my actual first post sometime soon. I don't know why I can't find anything older than that post right now. I used to be able to find it easily.
EDIT: After some creative googling, this may have been it: http://www.christianguitar.org/forums/t375/#post6558

| My first post was in another user name. It was about how junky the saddles are on the epeiphone guitars. I think I only posted once in that user name, and then did not come back again till about 2 months ago. over the 2+ years it had been I had forgot the password, so signed up new. I never did like mu other user name any way.........

Nifty. Must've gotten changed a little bit before I came around, then. Sure seems like a long time ago that I joined, but four years really isn't that long... |
