You know, I don't think I was ever really a n00b like the n00bs are today, other than my e-engagement to Bass_girl. I think I was more of a n00b in seeking attention in a non "omg!!!111!! LooKK AT mEE, i lIKE GriillsS!!" way.

haha as far as I can remember, I was never like that either. It was mostly just my attitude that made me a n00b, if I'm correctly gauging how other people saw me.

Well, i think it depends on age & if it was your first forum experience. I'd been posting on forums since ~96, and I was 18 when I joined, so it's a bit different for me than some of the people who started at 13 with CGR as their first forum and kind of grew up here.

It is pretty amazing to watch how things have changed, I mean look how many people started dating, got married, had kids, etc in the last 10 years here.

Very true. I started here at 15 and I was definitely a youngster.

Yeah, I was... 12. New to CGR, new to the internet, new to intelligent humor, new to music that wasn't from Disney Channel...

I'd say I've done well.

Exactly.
I came over here from Harmony Central, where I was/am a senior member. I haven't been active there in a long time though. Plus, I was in my 20's when I came here.

12!? Ha. Crazy.
I never even knew you as a noob, although that was going on while I was here apparently. I guess that was back in my "guitar" only days. You always seemed mature beyond your years to me. You must've grown up in a hurry on CGR.

I just turned 13 when I joined...

Plus, another fun fact, I got my first modship over five and a half years ago. Phew.

I just looked at my first post into the depths of the CGR world:
http://www.christianguitar.org/forums/t79206/

Oh the days when I was 13 and the bands I like then. I was also scared and confused when I read the replies.
