Everybody's Fine

This is a brand new dramedy, written and directed by Kirk Jones, that looks kind of like About Schmidt if it had starred Robert De Niro. It's official release date is December 4th.

Here's the trailer:

Here's the basic plot:

"A widower embarks on an impromptu road trip to reconnect with each of his grown children only to discover that their lives are far from picture perfect."

De Niro will play the role of the widower and his children are to be played by Sam Rockwell, Kate Beckinsale, and Drew Barrymore. Early reviews are quite praising and all of them are raving about De Niro's performance, claiming it to be the best one he's given since, at the very least, his early- to mid-90's work, like Goodfellas, Heat, and Casino.

Anyone else as thoroughly excited as I am about this film?
