| Soda!!! So, I know there have got to be some other soda loving people out there. I saw this fantastic interview on boingboing.net with the owner of the worlds greatest soda pop store. Video about world's greatest soda pop store - Boing Boing
I really want to visit this place and drink one of every soda they have. It looks incredible! And the owner seems like a really great guy.
What's the weirdest soda you've ever had the privilege or horror of drinking? |

| hands down, the worst soda I've ever drunk was Ham Soda. I puked it back up in my trash can at my desk at work. terrible stuff, simply terrible.
I love soda, especially Root Beer. I savor the subtle tastes and flavors blended together in a good non-corn-syrup herbal brew.

| Some stuff called Beverly at the World of Coke was horrible. It is a Coca-Cola product marketed in some foreign country (for me). Needless to say, it was bad. Some of the Green Apple stuff and other flavors from other countries is actually pretty good.

| I've never tasted root beer in my life. I really want to, though. Probably the weirdest soda I ever drank was one called "SARS". Seriously. It was liquorice flavoured, and not tasty at all. |

| Yeah, I'm an addict. Seriously. I have finally gotten off the hard stuff, and I am trying to ween myself from Coke Zero and Diet Dr. Pepper, the only two diet sodas I do not hate.
My oddest experience is also probably one of my favorites. Ginger beer. Mmm. |

| I like Ginger Beer, though for me the ultimate soda experience has always been Root Beer. there are so many different ways to brew it, and so many subtle tastes involved. I like going to microbreweries and trying their different Root Beer recipes, way way better than any of the 2-liter corn syrup poo in stores. some of the better top-shelf root beers are finally getting released in stores these days, which is good.
my favorite microbrewery: Water Street Brewery in Milwaukee.
my favorite top shelf bottled root beers: Bulldog and Virgils
I tried brewing root beer myself, it has turned out horribly every single time. bah.

| Stewart's has great Ginger Beer, if you can find it. I love fresh brewed root-beer at old fashioned drive-ins, especially if it's served in a frosted mug. I'm really a soda addict, I think I've tried most everything that's been made available to me.
And the foreign stuff at the World of Coke is pretty bad... except for the South American Watermelon Soda. It was pretty good. |

| Ginger Beer is quite nice. It's more popular in Australia and New Zealand than in North America. |
