#1 | | Cool enough Administrator | V The pilot for V aired yesterday. I recorded it on my DVR, and watched it tonight.
I have to say, I very much enjoyed it. I thought this show did everything right that FlashForward did wrong, if that makes sense. I am excited to see more of this one. |

I think I like this new V, but I prefer the original Diana + the red uniform. |

| Oh
I thought you were referring to episodes 1-4, since that's how many there have been.
I get it. |

| as a fan of the original series, I was reluctant to watch this new series. I'm tired of stupid remakes of sacred childhood icons *cough transformers cough*
but I gave in and watched the first few (and only existing) episodes. I found it rather enjoyable. some if it is going to take some work to win me over, as some of the plot points seem weak to me. but overall, a good series so far.
I can't help but notice the non-subtle theme of "control the media, control the world" that was especially poignant in Harry Potter 5 - 7 (the books, not the travesty of a movie) and even to some extent in the second and third Star Wars movies with Palpatine controlling the world in a large part by controlling the media. but that's a completely different topic, I imagine. |
