am i doing the right thing?

okay a friend of mine had her best freind die of cancer yesterday, i put this on face book telling her that she will not be forgoten but will this make it worse?

yesterday, a friends of one of my best friend’s died, I wont say the name because last I was told the girl did not one anyone to know, I will respect her wishes, please pray for the girl “T D R” also her family and friends.
I did not know her but I talked to God so much and talked to my friend that I felt close (or that is why my mom says I’m crying over some one I did not know), I did not know her but I do know she was a great friend and that in my book means she deserves to not be forgotten. To my friend I pray for you and want you to know I am here for you forever and always.

That's tough. And I unfortunately have had this experience as well. When a young person dies, I don't think we are equipped to handle it emotionally, and I don't think we are meant to.

Be a good friend, and don't overthink it. Love and care can be simple, and at it's best is simple.

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. It's ok not to know what to say.
