I have never used the Korg, but I have a Zoom G2. It's essentially the same unit and it's pretty good. I have no other experience with other multi-effects. One of the main things is the instantaneous switching between patches. It's quite good. I no longer use it because it has this annoying hum so I've had to put it away.

The other guitar player on our worship team uses the zoom pedal. I think it is the G2. It's green, it's sounds OK, and it's noisy. Very, very noisy. Nice high pitched hum through the sound system.
Correction. His is the A2, it's the acoustic model.

Reason: Correction
I have been using the Zoom for worship for about 1 month. The g7.1, it sounds great, the effects are superb, and the amp/od has much potential, though I haven't dialed down the exact od's i'm looking for. So many possibility's and tweaking. This unit takes work to understand and use, but it is worth it because of the sound quality and convience of only traveling with one pedal. Never used the Korg?
I have a friend who used a Korg modeler similar if not the same as the one mentioned. IT sounded horrible in the PA system, but pretty nice thru his Fender Twin Reverb. Zoom, like everyone has said, is noisy. Really noisy.
Bottom line- Digitech is your friend.

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.
