| 1. If I could grow a real beard, I would do it.
2. Please announce that this event is not open to women.
3. Who's in for guessing how long until this thread gets CPF'ed? It's way purposeful for GD.

| I want to, but I really can't participate in full capacity. I'm a substitute teacher, and the school district really want us to look professional. I might have to shave certain areas that won't look right as it grows in.
I could go all month without trimming my actual beard though. |

2. Sometimes the women need a break! It's for everyone!
3. Every thread that I can remember ( 1, 2, 3) have been in GD.... It's for everyone! |

| No shaving the goatee this month, but I have to shave some, or my wife will call it no- something else- November. |

| I used to do this. My last year of university grad photos fell in November, so I had the rattiest facial hair for my grad photo. Can't do it anymore as I work in an office. |

| I'm debating doing this...I never like shaving what I already have though.
My caveat for No Shave November has always been that I will be shaving my neck. Having a huge beard on my face doesn't bother me one bit. Having a huge beard on my neck is a whole 'nother story.
and as Sean.t already pointed out, there's no reason for this thread to get moved out of GD. Threads like this are a perfect fit for the GD forum.

| This would not be a big deal for me.. except I'm traveling back home to ask my girl's dad for her hand in marriage... so I don't want to look too scruffy... how about no shave December?
