Somer Thompson and Elizabeth Olten

In the period of a week, 2 girls went missing and were both found deceased later on...

Somer Thompson, age 7 and Elizabeth Olten, age 9

They have somebody in custody for Elizabeth and Somer's killer still somewhere out there.
It's really sad that children can't even walk home from school or walk home from a friend's house anymore without having to worry about something happening..

It's scary what this world is coming to

Yes it is more than sad.

Our art imitates our life as a society and our lives imitates our art. We have become so hardened to decency and civility that this is now becoming more and more common (but should we be surprised considering that since 1973 as a society we have killed over 50 million unborn?)

Really? How common is it and how common was it in the past? Please support your claims.

What? You can't?
