| Using 2 delays I am sure there is a thread about this somewhere, but searching found me no results.
I have noticed that a lot of people use two delays. Do you people that do this use them at separate times, just for different settings, say maybe one analog and one digital, or one digital and one reverse, etc...? Or do you run them together?
I'm just curious what you cool cats do with your two delays.

| Right now I'm just using a DD20, but I've played with a EHX Deluxe Memory Man before, and I'd really like to add one to my chain. It's great for adding a nice ambient swell behind your sound and really fills things out. |

| For me (and I'm sure it's the same for some other people), I like to use different delays with different subdivisions at seperate times ... For example, I set one delay to a dotted eighth note delay and the other one to a regular quarter note delay ... But that's just what I do to make it easier for me ... There are many other ways you can use them together or seperately that you can use to fit your style of playing ... It's mostly based on how you like it ... |

| Right now I use my DD-5 and PB&J simultaneously. The DD-5 is the dominant sound but the PB&J adds some additional soft repeats that really fill out the overall sound.

| I use an analog delay set really low into a Nova Delay. With the Nova Delay I have the ability to run dual delays also. A .8th into 1/4 seems to be pretty popular. |

| I run my Nova Delay into my DD-6.
My DD-6 is always, always, ALWAYS set to reverse delay, with my mix around noon, feedback around 10, and delay time around 11.
Its a very subtle sound but it gives my Nova Delay's repeats a cool stutter kind of effect. I only use my DD-6 for softer parts, volume swells, and other ambient stuff, otherwise everything gets too muddy. But I have found that I really like the sound it gives me.

| I really am digging all of these ideas. I'm trying to sell my Digitech Jamman looper so I can buy a giga delay (if anybody wants to straight up swap let me know... ha) and I was curious if it at all would be helpful to keep my echo park. With these ideas in mind, I will for sure be keeping it. And with the PB&J I'm getting from Relient Nelson, oh man the creative possibilities!

| For quite a while I ran my Nova Delay into my PB&J set to a really dirty ambient sound, into my DD-6 with the reverse setting, and achieved some very interesting results.
Might I ask why you decided on the Giga Delay?
One cool idea might be to run your Echo Park on the swell setting into whatever tap-controlled delay you end up getting (presumably the GigaDelay) and listen to how the second delay handles the swells.

I think having the powerhouse of the Giga Delay mixed with the Echo Park will be a killer duo, then being able to add the PB&J for whatever other random thing I need will be just poifect.

| Have you played a Nova Delay? If I were you I would check it out before going with the giga delay.

I guess I'm just pretty biased as I had borrowed the giga delay, as well as one of my good friends has one as I'm pretty far into Giga Delay world, but I just might have to check out the Nova as well.

| It is in my opinion, a better and more versatile pedal.. Pretty intuitive to use, much smaller size, I also prefer the switch to the, i dunno what you'd call it.. boss style stomp on thing.

| eh, don't think you'd be able to find a nova for quite that cheap.. definitely worth the investment though.

More than likely I'll end up with the Giga Delay as it is much cheaper and will do everything I need, but we'll see what does down.
