I much preferred the DD-20 to the Nova Delay, personally...

I usually use an EHX Memory Boy set to fairly short repeats with lots of feedback and pretty low in the mix. Then I often have a reverse delay set to half notes that's low in the mix as well. Then on top of that I have a Lo Res delay setting on my M13 set to quarter notes. Really nice for ambient stuff, especially with some reverb and subtle mod or pitch effects.

There doesn't really seem to be a consensus on the better pedal, I'll admit. Why do you prefer the DD20?

I thought the Nova sounded more sterile and I just thought it was easier to use. Of course I owned the DD-20 for about a year and only ever had a quick play with another guy's Nova so I might have bonded with it a bit more over time. Either way, I'm using an M13 now and I much prefer it to both the Boss and the TC.
