Photo Challenge #23 10-28 - 11-18

Because I had to make you wait longer than Sarah did.

Topic #23 is food! Everybody likes food. I think this could be fun.
__________________________________________

Rules:

1) Photo must be taken in this time frame. No digging up old photos.

2) Please post entries as either a embedded image or jpeg attachment no bigger than 500px on any side with a link to the larger version if you want.

3) We will not exclude images based on conforming to the rules, but keep in mind that one of the things the image will be judged on is how well it shows this week's challenge subject.

4) To keep this thread simple and clean, if you don't want to enter and just want critique before an official entry, post it in the designated photography critique thread, not here. You can however discuss the subject or any entries here if you want.

5) You are encouraged to share your camera settings, shutter speeds, aperture, etc., but EXIF is not required. Please, no heavy editing/graphics. This is a photography thread.

NEW RULE
6) If you would like to have your photo (ruthlessly) critiqued in the voting phase, add "RC" to your entry.

You always make me hungry whenever you post in the "What did you cook last?" thread.

Your pictures there are always top-notch, and always make the food look so appetizing.

I can't compete in this category. College campus food isn't beautiful. Only necessary.

The challenge is just called "food". Who says it's literally shooting a piece of pie or a cookie? Think outside the box.

Erm...is this an Iron Chef challenge as well?
I may or may not come up with something. We'll see.

I would vote for them! I have never eaten them, but I drool and get really sad about California whenever I see them.

Food is my favorite. This will be fun.

Is someone going to shoot a lion eating a zebra?! Cause that would be fantastic.
