Anyone else heard of this musical? It had a pretty short run on Broadway and isn't produced too often, so it's not as well known as some of its contemporaries, but it's a fantastic show. The plot centers around a Jewish man from Brooklyn living in Georgia, who's wrongfully accused of the murder of a girl who worked in his factory. It's extremely heavy, which may partially account for its smaller audience, but the story, music and characters are incredibly well-done. It's a complex telling of a disturbing story that allows the audience to empathize with characters on both sides. And the score is great overall, with some wonderful stand-out songs -- particularly a ballad duet called All The Wasted Time, which is still one of my favorite Broadway songs ever.
