| Motorola Droid Droid from Verizon Wireless
I'm pretty psyched about this one, as long as it doesn't flop, like the Storm did. |

| Android does freaking rock. I'm probably getting an Android phone soon. The Motorola Cliq. Being a T-Mobile Employee I can doubtlessly say it's the best phone T-Mobile has ever carried. The reviewers on the internet all hate it because it's not an iPhone. But it's about as accurate as an apple fanboy reviewing windows.... Having used one extensively, it's amazing.. |

| I'm now very happy that my contract expires next year. Depending on the cost of a data plan, I might get this. |

| Anyone else notice that they had to get permission from Lucasfilm to use the trademark "Droid"?
I found that kinda funny. |

The Droid looks interesting, but I'd like a lot more info before I really consider it... |

| Meh. The Storm flopped because it sucked. In a huge, glaring way. It was just a piece of crap.
Android is a good OS, and is far better than an iPhone. However, T-Mobile's been chasing down iPhone-killer ads and strategies for nearly a year now since the launch of the G1 and they've nothing to really show for it.

| I saw the commercial for this yesterday while watching a football game. I honestly have to say that I am glad that there is competition coming into this level of phones, but I probably will not be interested in it for the same reason that I don't have a smartphone already. If it wasn't for the monthly charge for having the services, I'd have one, but at this point I see them as a waste of my money. It's all subjective though.

| I have had nothing but bad experiences with Motorola phone, and for that reason, I am completely uninterested. But I am very interested in the Android OS. Maybe in the future. |

It really just depends on how you use your phone... Just like texting seems pointless to some people and vital to others, mobile internet/email and PDA functions are pointless to some and vital to others and thus worth the extra charges. |

| Better battery life, too. The G1 is a power hog.

| I'm excited to see this - the little countdown timer at the bottom of the welcome page looks like some sort of announcement is to be made in 7 days if I decoded the timer properly. |
