Alright... so I've had the Droid for about a week now.
The good: The screen is ridiculously pretty. Seriously. Keyboard isn't as bad as the reviews make it out to be (and I have big hands/fingers).... it takes some getting used to, but it could be much worse, and you always have the option of the touch screen keyboards. Integration with Google is great... same with Facebook contact integration. Android 2.0 is killer. As is Google Navigation. Using it with Google Voice is awesome as well. It's thin, but feels very solid. The slider doesn't feel week and gives a good satisfying click when opened .
The bad: I've had a few minor glitches (some weird scrolling issues crop up when corporate calendar runs, but I seem to be the only person on earth with this problem, and I don't mind it... I don't use exchange so it's not a big deal). Nothing deal breaking though. The picture camera is mediocre, but the video is excellent... I'm hoping the picture thing is a software issue. The pictures turn out decent, but they could be a lot better, and it takes a few shots to get a good, in-focus picture. Multimedia integration could be better if you're looking to use this as your primary media player, but for casual listening and occasional video watching it's fine (awesome if you have some high quality video on that screen).
One oddity... the home screen only rotates to the side when you open the keyboard... the accelerometer works 100% fine in every other application, but for some reason not the home screen.
Battery has been ok, but it's too soon for me to tell this so far.
Bottom line: This thing is awesome. If you're looking for an Android device, I wouldn't hesitate recommending it. It's a really solid phone.
